About Me

MSc Counselling & Psychotherapy, BSc (Hons), GradDip CBT, Dip Clin Hyp, NLP Master Practitioner

I was nineteen, pregnant, and on track for a career in law when my life took a direction I hadn't planned for.

Becoming a young single mother could have stopped everything. Instead it lit something. I wasn't raised around women who had careers or built businesses, the women in my world had jobs that fitted around the children and didn't ask for much more than that. I knew from the moment I became a mother that I wanted something different. For myself, and eventually for my daughters.

That determination took me to Australia, where I trained as a midwife and spent years working with women in some of the most complex circumstances imaginable. Women navigating addiction, trauma, abuse, and circumstances most people never have to face. I trained in counselling, NLP, and hypnotherapy to be able to support them properly, not just clinically, but as whole people.

What I noticed, working alongside those women, was that the therapeutic model; sitting with the past, processing what had happened, only went so far. The women who made the most progress were the ones I’d helped to look forward. To identify what they wanted, to build belief that it was possible, to move toward something rather than just away from something. That wasn't therapy. That was coaching… I just didn't have a name for it yet.

When I returned to the UK and moved into business, I brought everything with me. The commercial growth, building, scaling, buying, selling, sitting at board level, and the understanding of human behaviour that most people in business never develop. The way childhood shapes how we price ourselves. The way old conditioning runs quietly underneath every bold decision we fail to make. The way the most capable women in a room are often the ones least able to see it.

That intersection is where I work. It's where the real blocks live, and it's where the real change happens.

I have four daughters. It matters. Everything I do is shaped by wanting them to grow up in a world where women don't make themselves smaller to make others more comfortable and by knowing that the most powerful thing I can do for them is show them what it looks like to refuse to.

We don't need fixing. We need unlearning.
